What this site is
This is the maintenance tracker for Lake View Cabanas. Residents use it to report maintenance snags in the complex, attach photos, and follow the trustees' progress in getting them fixed. It is operated by the Lake View Cabanas Body Corporate for the sole benefit of the complex.
There is no payment page here and there never will be. We will not ask you for card numbers, banking details, or your banking password. The only credentials this site asks for are the email address a trustee invited you with, and a password you choose yourself.
Who may use it
Access is by invitation only. A trustee has to add your email address to the member list before you can sign in. There is no public sign-up. If you reach the sign-in screen but are not on the list, you will not be able to see any data.
Your account
- Keep your password to yourself and do not share your account with anyone.
- Use your own name. Names identify who reported a snag and who commented on it, so they need to be accurate.
- Tell a trustee straight away if you think somebody else has got into your account.
Acceptable use
- Report real maintenance issues, and describe them accurately.
- Keep comments civil and relevant to the snag. This is a maintenance tool, not a general discussion forum.
- Only upload photos of the maintenance issue itself. Do not upload photos of people, or anything unrelated to the snag.
- Do not attempt to access snags, member records, or accounts that are not yours.
Trustees may deactivate the account of anyone who misuses the site, which immediately ends their access.
Emergencies
This site is not an emergency service and nobody monitors it around the clock. For a burst pipe, a fire, a security incident, or anything else urgent, phone the relevant emergency number or the managing agent. Do not rely on a snag posted here being seen quickly.
Availability
We do our best to keep the tracker running, but we cannot guarantee it is always available or error free. It is provided as a convenience to residents, as is. A snag logged here is a request to the trustees, not a binding commitment that the work will be done by any particular date.
